A PRAYER FOR UNITY AND RENEWAL |
O God of love and mercy, we thank you for all the good you have placed in our midst. With gratitude and in confidence,we come before you as we enter this time of change for our Parishes and ourselves.
We ask you to guide us through this transition, and for the grace to accept this as a new journey of faith and labor of love to renew and strengthen our entire Church.
We seek your wisdom to recognize the deep faith, special gifts, and unique talents of each Parish, and the ability to blend them into one unified community of believers.
We pray for a new Parish Community that is renewed in faith, strong in hope, confident in your love, and proud to profess a common belief in our one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
Amen. |
do you love to sing? |
 |
| We are looking for any youth who may be interested in joining us. We really need you ! especially Middle School and High School students. If you can sing or play an instrument, we'd like to make a joyful noise unto our God! We practice on Monday from 6-7pm in the church. We sing once a month at the 8:30am Sunday Mass. Please give this some thought and prayer. Any questions... Nancy @ 703-8250 or nmckeown74@aol.com |

Welcome to the website
of the Church of the Assumption Parish, located in Galloway Township,
New Jersey. We are a part of the Camden Diocese, under the leadership
of the Most Reverend Joseph A. Galante.
We invite you to browse through the pages of
this site to learn about our community of faith and the services
our parish provides. |
|
We, the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption,
Galloway, in union with our Pope and Bishop, under the patronage
of Mary, the Mother of God, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We strive to do this by providing opportunities
for prayer and worship, particularly the sharing of the Eucharist,
the education of children and adults.
We seek to serve the spiritual, physical and social
needs of others, regardless of class, gender or social concerns.
By committing ourselves to the unifying work of
the Holy Spirit, we hope to grow as a community that welcomes all
to serve our faith and traditions. |
